Formula & method

WW SmartPoints Estimation Equation

Points = (Calories × 0.0305) + (Sugar × 0.12) + (SatFat × 0.275) − (Protein × 0.098)

Calculated value is rounded to nearest integer (minimum 0).

Example

250 kcal, 8g sugar, 3g sat fat, 10g protein → Points ≈ 7.6 + 1.0 + 0.8 − 1.0 = 8 pts.
